It’s really as easy as 1, 2, 3 – 1 tablespoon of Honey, 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard, and 3 tablespoons of brown sugar. Bing, bang, boom! You have a delicious fish to impress your family and friends with.
This past weekend, we were vacationing by a lake and this salmon was truly the perfect cottage meal. Who wants to spend all day cooking? I may love cooking, but when I’m up north, I’d rather be relaxing, boating or helping my toddler daughter find ducks by the water’s edge – she loves saying, “Quack! Quack!” to them.

- 4 (6 ounce) fillets salmon
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
- In a small bowl, combine sugar, mustard, and honey. Spoon mixture evenly over salmon.
- Bake salmon for 7 to 10 minutes. Then broil for 2 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Plate salmon and enjoy!
