When my mom turned 60, I wanted to give her a really special gift. After lots of thinking and planning, I made her a gift that she treasures. 60 Things We {Love} About You is filled with memories, experiences and most importantly all the reasons (or things) why I, along with my husband and daughter, love my mom – one thing for each of her 60 years.
60 Things We {Love} About You quickly became one of my mom’s favorite gifts. I’ll never forget the look on her face when we gave it to her. With the framed gift resting on her lap and my two-year-old daughter draped over her arm, I watched as my mom read the list aloud. She laughed at the funny memories and teared up at the sentimental ones. She probably read through the list at least five times before proudly displaying it on the wall.
