With a pop of Asian flavour, these tuna burgers are wonderfully tasty.

Asian Tuna Burgers

Some days, dinner can feel like a total challenge. By the time school and extracurriculars are done, there’s hardly any time to make dinner. Asian Tuna Burgers are a wonderful prep ahead meal. You can whip up the burger mixture and place it in the fridge until you are ready to bake them. Or, you can make them and enjoy them later, hot or cold.

I can never decide which way they are tastier, fresh out of the oven or cold the next day. Dilemmas, dilemmas! 🙂

Asian Tuna Burgers

Asian Tuna Burgers are easily freezable. There’s no need to eat them right away. Simply place the burgers in a freezer bag and they’re good for three months. I love having a few meals in the freezer, you never know when you’re going to need a quick, healthy homemade dish.

Asian Tuna Burgers

While this is most definitely not traditional Asian fare, Asian Tuna Burgers capture the essence of the flavour. The combination of soy sauce and peanut butter add a wonderful flavour that lends an Asian flair to this tuna dish.

The other ingredients, bread crumbs, Worcestershire sauce, and ketchup may not seem Asian inspired, but together the flavours meld into a tasty tuna dish. You can eat Asian Tuna Burgers on their own, or serve them on a slider bun for a more traditional burger style meal.

To give the patties a uniform shape, you can use a small measuring cup. Simply spoon the tuna salad mixture into the measuring cup, press firmly, and gently pop out the patty. Place the formed patty on a parchment paper covered baking sheet, gently pat down, and you have perfectly shaped Asian Tuna Burgers.
