If you love creamy salads, Avocado Caesar Salad is rich, creamy, and healthy too! That’s right, it’s made without oil, fat, or cheese, instead, it’s packed with healthy avocados. You can enjoy this salad with fish, chicken, or even steak. The possibilities are endless!

I love Caesar salad. I could eat it every day. Creamy, garlicky dressing on crisp, crunchy lettuce is seriously a perfect salad. Every bite of the salad is simply perfection. There’s a creamy sauce, tasty lettuce, and of course croutons. How can you not love a salad that’s filled with crunchy bread?
While most Caesar dressings are loaded with a combination of cream, oil, and fatty cheese, Avocado Caesar Salad has all the amazing flavour, without the excess fat. Plus it’s green. Yes, green! And it’s delicious.

What’s not to love!

Avocado Caesar Salad still has that light cheesy flavour you’ll love. When cottage cheese and avocado combine, they create a rich, creamy, and lightly cheesy flavour that’s perfect for any salad. The garlic, lemon juice, red wine vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce complete the sauce leaving you with a rich, robust sauce. It’s so tasty, you’ll want to lick the bowl clean.

Avocado is amazing! It can easily blend into so many recipes creating a velvety, melt-in-your-mouth flavour. It can become a perfect dessert (Chocolate Avocado Mousse), make a creamy pasta sauce (Light Creamy Penne Pesto), or just add a pop of colour and flavour to any dish (Guacamole). It’s one deliciously, awesome fruit!
You don’t even taste the avocado in this dressing. It simply gives the sauce a nice green hue. If a green salad dressing isn’t your favourite thing, don’t worry. No one would even notice its colour. The salad dressing blends perfectly into the bright green lettuce.

Like with any avocado sauce recipe, if there is any Avocado Caesar Salad dressing left over, spoon it into a container and carefully press a piece of plastic wrap over top. Make sure there are no air bubbles between the sauce and the plastic wrap. Then place the lid over top. This method helps keep the air away, which helps the dressing keep its green colour and deliciously fresh flavour.

This sounds delicious. I might even get my avocado-hating husband to try it. 🙂 Maybe I won’t tell him it contains avocado at all. 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Carlie! Hope you and your husband both enjoy Avocado Caesar Salad.
How interesting – the salad has a lot of typical ingredients in caesar salad but it gets its creaminess from the avocado. This would be worth a try as it certainly is healthier than the recipe I use. Fiesta Friday always enjoys a good salad, especially a healthy one – thanks for sharing.
Thanks! Avocado Caesar Salad is definitely creamy. Hope you enjoy it.
This recipe hits me in my weak spot. I’ve just pinned it and flipped it so I can be sure to make this next time I get some cottage cheese in the house. We always have avocados. I’ll be checking out some of the other recipes you linked to, also.
Thanks, Barbara! Hope you enjoy Avocado Caesar Salad and the other recipes too.
