Birthday Mug Cake is also a healthier cake. Unlike other birthday cakes, this cake is made without butter, cream, oil, or eggs. Instead, it is given its rich texture from a combination of milk and apple sauce. Healthier and tasty, this is one amazing cake. It’s so perfectly decadent, you won’t miss those ingredients. I promise!!

How to Make Birthday Mug Cake

Let’s get this party started! Find your favorite microwave-safe mug or ramekin. It is about to be filled with a yummy mini cake. Add flour, milk, sugar, apple sauce, baking powder, vanilla, and salt. Stir it all together before adding in the sprinkles. There’s nothing like a vanilla cake bursting with sprinkles. It just screams party!

Now all that’s left is baking it in the microwave. In less than 2 minutes it will be ready. Since all microwaves are different, I recommend that you start by cooking it on high for 1 minute. Continue to cook it for 10 seconds at a time until it is ready. You’ll know it’s finished when the top firm and a toothpick comes out clean.

When it’s warm and fresh out of the microwave, you can top it with a candle or even a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Whichever way you serve it, your sweet wishes will come true when you take your first bite.

It’s that time! Let’s celebrate with some cake!!

Happy Birthday! Cute idea. I like that it is a single serving that could satisfy a craving without having the entire rest of a large cake sitting around to tempt you.
