It can happen anytime. The day is going along normally, and then – BAM – you’re hit with an intense chocolate craving. Sure, you can ignore it, but like a boomerang, it just keeps coming back. You just need a taste, a nibble, or a decadently chocolatey brownie.

Chocolate Hazelnut Brownies is jam-packed with melt-in-your-mouth chocolatey goodness. With lightly sweetened chocolate hazelnut batter that’s smooth and creamy, this is one slam-dunk way to feed a chocolate craving.

With five simple ingredients, you can throw together a tasty brownie treat that’s so much tastier than the boxed varieties. The combination of chocolate hazelnut spread, flour, egg whites, banana, and salt creates a perfectly creamy, lightly sweetened batter, full of heavenly chocolatey flavour. It’s so tasty, it’s hard to eat just one.

When it comes out of the oven, each brownie bar has the perfect combination of a fudgy middle with a lightly crispy top. Throughout the bars, there are little clumps of banana. Instead of perfectly mashing the banana while preparing the batter, you can leave small little clumps. This adds texture to the brownie bar and adds a subtle banana flavour. The combination of chocolate, hazelnut, and banana is truly heavenly.
