Cranberry Glazed Salmon is truly a festive tasting fish. With a combination of cranberry juice, orange juice and soy sauce this simple marinade packs a delicious flavour punch.
In less than 30 minutes, you’ll enjoy a flavourful fish that the whole family will enjoy. To start, sauté onions and ginger in a medium saucepan. Sautéing the onions removes their pungent flavour, leaving them with a mild and savoury sweetness. Ginger highlights the other flavours, without overpowering them. It adds a tangy freshness with a mellow zing of sweetness.
To finish the marinade, cranberry juice, orange juice, soy sauce and brown sugar are added to the saucepan. As they marinade, the sauce thickens, amplifying the flavours.
Finally, pour the marinade over the salmon and bake for 10 minutes. When it’s all done, Cranberry Glazed Salmon has the tasty balance of sweet and savoury, perfect for a richly flavoured fish.
