Ingredients

  • Small plate
  • Black Sharpie
  • Painters tape
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Gloves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Clean plates with rubbing alcohol. This helps remove any dirt or debris from the plate.
  2. When dry, place painter’s tape on the plate in chosen design/pattern. Evenly press on the tape, so there are no air bubbles or raised areas.
  3. Evenly colour white sections of the plate. You may need to use two coats to evenly cover the areas.
  4. Once dry, remove the tape.
  5. Place plates in a cool oven. Preset temperate to 250 F (120 C).
  6. Once the oven reaches the temperature, cook plates for 2 hours.
  7. Let plates cool completely before removing them from the oven.
  8. Display the finished plate or gift it to someone special!
