  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 8 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 4 thin slices Black Forest ham


  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (230°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard and mayonnaise to make the mustard sauce.
  3. Place chicken on a sheet pan covered with parchment paper. Cover with the mustard sauce and bake for 15 minutes.
  4. Lay 1 slice of cheese on each chicken breast. Then place 1 slice of ham on top of the cheese on each breast. If it’s a larger piece, fold the ham in half, so it comfortably sits on the chicken. Finally, top with another piece of cheese.
  5. Return to oven and cook for 5 more minutes, until an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the cheese is melted. Rest for 3 to 5 minutes before serving.
