Crusted Garlic Parmesan Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1 pound salmon, fillets
  • 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoon grapeseed oil
  • 2 tsp dill weed
  • 2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine Italian bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, oil, dill, and garlic powder to make parmesan mixture.
  3. Place salmon on a parchment covered baking sheet. Spoon parmesan mixture evenly over salmon and gently press to create an even crust.
  4. Bake salmon for 10 to 12 minutes. Cook until an internal temperature of 158°F (70°C).

Notes

This is because when you remove the fish from the oven, the internal temperature continues to rise, which can result in overcooked fish. You can help to avoid this by waiting five minutes after removing the fish from oven to check its temperature.
