Sauce Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine ketchup, honey, mustard, Worcestershire sauce. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, paprika, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  2. Make sure that the glass container is clean on the inside and outside.
  3. Pour barbecue sauce into the container. Wipe away any spills.
  4. Using scissors, trim away the excess paper around the label. Measure the label on the container to see if it needs any extra trimming.
  5. Once the size is just right, cover the entire backside of the label with a glue stick.  Carefully place the label around the container.
  6. Add a strip of clear tape to the back of the label. This way, even the corners stay in place.
  7. Refrigerate the sauce until you are ready to give it as a gift.
