After seeing how much my family loved Apple Pie Smoothies, I was excited to try another pie inspired drink. With a rich and creamy texture, Pumpkin Pie Smoothie does not disappoint.

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie tastes like a perfect piece of pumpkin pie. While there’s no crust in this smoothie, the mixture of ingredients replicates the sweet and savoury pumpkin pie flavour. With a mix of cinnamon, pumpkin purée, and maple syrup, you have one slurpable and satisfying sweet treat.

Before we get into all the ingredients, let’s talk maple syrup. Forget about those sugary, fake, imitation syrups. For the best taste, you’ll want to use pure maple syrup. It’s healthier and it tastes better too!

Pure maple syrup is made without any artificial ingredients. The sweet flavours come from concentrating the sap of the sugar maple tree. Yum! It’s naturally delicious.

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie is a combination of a few of my favourite fall and smoothie ingredients. Throw them together and you have a creamy dreamy pumpkin pie treat. The creamy base begins with half a frozen banana. It makes the smoothie incredibly creamy without adding an overly banana flavour.

Next, comes vanilla Greek yogurt. It enhances the banana’s texture and adds a wonderful vanilla flavour. I love the hint of vanilla in this smoothie. It enhances the pie flavour and gives it a real dessert-friendly taste. If you don’t have greek yogurt, you can use regular (non-Greek) varieties. Your smoothie will simply be a little thinner, which can be delicious too.

Finally, add in some classic smoothie favourites, milk and ice, along with some pie flavoured additions, pumpkin purée, maple syrup, cinnamon, and pumpkin pie spice. Mix them all together and you have a sweet and satisfying drink.
