Step 1: Preheat oven to 425°F (230°C).
If you don’t usually make dinner at 425°F, you are going to love it. When dinner cooks at a higher temperature it keeps the food juicy, while getting it to your table faster.

Step 2: Add ingredients to the casserole dish.



With a few simple layers, this dish comes together in no time. It all starts with the tomato or marinara sauce.
When you add one cup of the sauce to the bottom of the casserole dish, it does two really important things. First, it helps the chicken not stick to the bottom of the dish. And it flavors the bottom of the chicken. So, when you cover the chicken with the remaining sauce, the chicken is truly covered all over with the sauce. Then comes my kiddos favorite part – the cheese. And it’s not just one type of cheese, it’s two. Hello, mozzarella and Parmesan.
The blend of mozzarella and parmesan is amazing. Where mozzarella is mellow and a perfect partner for tomato/marinara sauce (like with pizza), parmesan adds a richness that is just delicious. But together, these two cheeses are mouth-watering dinner perfection.

Step 3: Bake!

Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 (23 ounce) jar of marinara or tomato sauce
- 1 (16 ounce) package of spaghetti, cooked and drained
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (230°C).
- Cover 9×13 casserole dish with cooking spray. Add 1 cup tomato sauce to the bottom of the casserole dish. Top with chicken. Pour remaining tomato sauce over chicken. Cover with mozzarella cheese and then Parmesan cheese.
- Cover chicken with tin foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 10 minutes. Cook until an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- While chicken bakes, cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Serve pasta with chicken and sauce.
