Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/3 cup ketchup (plus 1/2 cup ketchup for topping)
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (230°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, cheese, ketchup, onion powder, and egg to make meatloaf mixture.
  3. Grease 9×13 foil covered sheet pan. Evenly press meatloaf mixture into sheet pan. Place a larger sheet pan underneath. Top with ½ cup ketchup.
  4. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, then broil 3 to 4 minutes.
  5. Cook until an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C). Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
