Sometimes I wonder where time has gone. Sure, I could be talking about the summertime. Is it really the end of August? What? But, I’m not talking about the summer. I’m talking about my four-year-old.
I swear, some days it feels like she went from newborn to toddler and now “big girl” overnight. How did these last four years fly by in the blink of an eye?
Sure, I have baby on the brain now. With all the bassinets, clothes, and other adorable baby gear I’ve been through while preparing for my new little bundle of joy, I seem to be reliving my first baby’s early years. But, I’m also just in total shock that my four-year-old is about to start Kindergarten. I just don’t know where these last four years have gone.
I know we’ve been busy, between being a full-time mommy and a blogger, every day is a bustling adventure with fun, giggles, and food. While the days can feel long, I could definitely pass out by the time I fall into bed, the weeks, months, and now years have gone by quicker than I ever imagined.
I couldn’t talk about time passing without sharing an adorable baby pic. Here she was at just one day old. Honestly, it feels like just yesterday she was this itsy bitsy teeny baby.
Now, she’s this big girl. She is just so tall, no one believes that she is really four-years-old. This kiddo of mine is growing up quicker than I ever imagined. And every day she is showing me more wonderful, hilarious, and touching aspects of her sweet self.

I know that in four years from now, or less, I’ll be going through this again. As this baby in my belly, who I don’t even know yet, prepares for her own journey into the Kinder years and beyond. For now, I’ll try to enjoy every day. And hold back the mommy tears, which are bound to flow. I think they are already starting.

I feel the same way. I look at my almost five year old and just can’t believe how fast time has flown by. The days can feel slow but the years are fast. <3
Yes, it’s amazing how time can move so fast and so slow.
