Ingredients

  • CHOCOLATE CAKE:
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup plain fat free Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • HONEY CHOCOLATE GLAZE:
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  3. In another small bowl, combine milk, greek yogurt and vanilla. Add to flour ingredients and mix until well combined. Stir in chocolate chips
  4. Spray two 4-inch round cake pans with cooking spray. Spoon batter into each pan.
  5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
  6. To prepare frosting, combine cocoa powder, milk, honey and vanilla in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  7. Plate and top with glaze. Enjoy!
