A refreshing winter salad made with apple, spinach, red onion, and a honey-sweetened apple cider vinaigrette.

There’s nothing like starting off the new year with a little romance. When the romance is in a tasty dish, well that’s just the icing on the cake. Or, the dressing on the salad.

It can be hard to find the time for romance when there are little ones at home. When there’s a newborn, it can feel next to impossible. But, I like to try. Romance doesn’t need to be a big splashing gesture. It can be the smallest and simplest thing, like a sweet salad.
Winter Apple Spinach Salad may not seem like the most romantic meal, but with a little heart-shaped apple in the middle of the salad, even the simplest meal can show a special someone just how much you care. By overlapping two thinly sliced apples, you can create a little heart. In a small subtle way, you can share some love today.
You know what they say, one of the best ways to someone’s heart is through their stomach. As a foodie, I couldn’t agree more. Seeing the sweet smile on my husband’s face when I made him this salad, I knew he agreed too.
Tasty and sweet, Winter Apple Spinach Salad is a wonderful salad to share!

Whether you are making the salad for yourself or someone special, Winter Apple Spinach Salad has a light flavour that anyone will enjoy. Whether you enjoy it for lunch or dinner, Winter Apple Spinach Salad pops with a fresh apple flavour with hints of refreshing mint throughout. Yum!
You can almost taste the cool winter day in the salad. The crispy red apples are truly sweet. When you combine them with the honey-sweetened apple cider vinaigrette, you can taste the winter breeze that always comes this time of year.

I love when there are a lot of different toppings in a salad. Each one compliments the other in a really tasty way. On its own, apples are deliciously sweet with a subtle tart flavour. When it’s combined with mint, onion, and spinach, the salad has a deliciously refreshing taste.

Winter Apple Spinach Salad has a wonderfully fresh and fruity flavour. The spinach, apple, red onion, and zesty vinaigrette all work together to create a tasty and refreshing autumn salad.
The honey-sweetened apple cider vinaigrette amplifies the sweet apples and enhances the rest of the salad. The combination of apple cider vinegar, mint, honey, water, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper create a light dressing that doesn’t need any oil. Water perfectly thins out the dressing without adding any unnecessary calories and fat.
