Fall is here. The air is beginning to cool and apples are in season. Whether they are picked from the tree or bought at the grocery store, apples are crisp, sweet, and perfect this time of year.
When it comes to apples, there is nothing like apple pie. Sure, you could make the crust, the filling, and let it bake away to perfection. Or, you can enjoy all of the flavours of apple pie in a quick and easy two-bite treat. Apple Pie Cake Bites are packed with everything you love about pie baked into a light and cakey treat.
Apple Pie Cake Bites are bursting with the flavours of baked apples, pie spices, and vanilla cake batter. With each bite, you can taste the season. Each one has perfectly spiced pieces of apples baked into each little bite. You can’t help but love these bite-sized desserts.
With just a few minutes to prepare, your home will be filled with the most wonderful smells of apple pie as they bake in the oven. It will smell welcoming, cosy, and gosh – your mouth will water. (Mine is just thinking about it).
Let me tell you, Apple Pie Cake Bites are worth the wait!
When they are fresh out of the oven – warm, spongy and perfectly baked – you’ll finally know that they taste even better than they smell. Each bite is perfectly light and spongy on the outside with a creamy, pie-flavoured inside. One batch never seems to be enough.
Even the next day, Apple Pie Cake Bites are truly delicious. No one can resist eating one, two or even a whole batch of these mini treats. Luckily these mini treats are truly guilt-free. Apple Pie Cake Bites are fat free and even lower in sugar. With a rich, moist batter, you’d never know that these treats are so light. The combination of maple syrup, apple sauce, milk, and apples creates a velvety cake that tastes perfect for days.
Sugar wise, most of the brown sugar in these cake bites is replaced with maple syrup, which is lower in calories and has less sugar per gram than refined sugars. Real maple syrup is so naturally sweet, you won’t taste the difference.
Apple Pie Cake Bites are deceptively delicious. They may be lower in calories and fat free, but there’s nothing diet tasting about them.
